High-density polyethylene safety cans offer some distinct advantages over terne plate and stainless steel construction.
Polyethylene is dent proof, puncture resistant and color is integral to the can.
Polyethylene is priced lower then stainless steel.
Certain poly cans are available with stainless steel hardware for highly corrosive chemicals or high purity liquids.
All nonmetallic cans are manufactured with a current carrying carbon insert, preventing the creation of an arc. This provides for proper bonding.
All Justrite, Type I Cans have UL and or FM tested closures, flame arresters and pressure relief.
