Moldex has added a carbon layer to filter out nuisance levels of acid gas irritants. (Note: Nuisance level refers to concentrations less than the OSHA PEL).
The exhalation valve allows the user to breathe easy and stay cool. The soft foam nose flange and Softspun lining gives the worker all day comfort. Flame-retardants have been added, to decrease the flammability of the shell.
Certified under NIOSH 42CFR 84 to have a filter efficiency level of 95% or greater against particulate aerosols free of oil.
Excellent respirator for petrochemical and chemical processing plants.
