V-Gard protective headwear from MSA consists of a shell and suspension, working together to give the user the best fit and protection.
The Shell - the rigid shell is lightweight and balanced for all day comfort. The shell is one-piece injection molded, high-density polyethylene that has a high dielectric strength (Class E & G).
The Suspension - With MSA you have the choice of two types of suspensions. Both the Staz-On® adjustable suspension and the Fas-Trac® ratchet suspension provide essential crown clearance to absorb impact energy.
The V-Gard is available in both a cap and full brim hat style. The V-Gard cap and hat meet or exceed the applicable requirements for a Type I helmet (top impact) as outlined in ANSI Z89.1-1997, Class E & G (Formerly Class B & A).
V-Gard cap comes in a variety of colors. We stock the white, yellow and blue with both the Staz-On and Fas-Trac Ratchet Suspensions. Other colors available on request.
